Through our own experiences ( not professional ) of building fences we found how hard it was to cut installed 4 x 4 posts off straight or at an angle. We searched the market and the internet and could not find anything to accomplish this task in a precise, easy and safe manner. A circular saw cannot accomplish this in one pass and lining up the opposite side to get a level cut is nearly impossible. Chain saws have a less than perfect cut and can be very dangerous when you are on a ladder trying to make a level cut. A reciprocating saw has a long enough blade but without some form of guide the blade wanders and also leaves a less than perfect cut. We built the guide to make a friends fence building easier.

We realized the need for this tool, as looking at numerous internet sites and chat rooms the common question was asking for help for a solutions to the problem of cutting off posts, let alone on slopes with varying gradients. This tool is very unique as it aids home handymen and professionals with a saw guide to cut posts level and on slopes where the project is being built, or already built.

The majority of fences currently built are built on some kind of gradient [ eg. house to properly line almost all are sloped away] with most of houses being sloped, ReciProMate makes fence building easier, faster and safely. The guide can cut from 0 to 45 degrees, depending on what angle is needed. It is common when setting posts they all cannot be set in at the same depth and post cutting is the only option. It can be used with or without the bolts, as using just screw in to attach the cutting guide to surface of what is being cut. It has also been tested cutting small tubular steel with success.

ReciProMate has the benefit of being a new invention, whereas there is no competition to compare to, period. We have reviewed website's with regards to building fences and this is the tool for building fences on level, sloped or on erecting fences on different gradients.

When we had been erecting fences, the easiest is to set end posts, then the remaining posts, snap a line from end post to end post with a chalk line across all posts, and cut post at chalk line. Set ReciProMate at the angle cuts and make a precision cut across them all. This can be used with posts alone or for completion of fence posts when used with panel fencing. All one has to do is drive around and you see unfinished projects with the posts set left at different heights, with the main problem of how to cut them off.

The information, pictures and video is shown using a protype saw guide and the tool is powder coated with 4 1/2 inch carriage bolts. The packaging is 6x10 4 color cardboard with PET blister Package.
